Welcome to the 2017 North American Youth Congress and Bible Quiz Reservation Blocking Site! United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) is excited that you are planning to attend North American Youth Congress (NAYC). UPCI is once again utilizing the services of Connections Housing as the official housing provider for this event. By booking with Connections Housing we will be able to use pickup history to show the impact that Youth Congress and Bible Quiz events have upon the city of Indianapolis, and future locations. Connections Housing has been a respected partner of ours for over 14 years and we value their expertise and excellent customer service. In an effort to maximize our pickup numbers, we are requiring all guests to “book the block” this year. Thank you for your understanding of this policy and allowing Connections Housing the opportunity to serve you!

FEBRUARY UPDATE: Due to the incredible demand for rooms this year, and limited availability of rooms with two beds within a 60-mile radius of Lucas Oil Stadium/Downtown, we are not currently displaying any specific hotels on this site. This site is now designed to collect your contact information and your night-by-night needs by bed type.

Connections Housing will contact you within three business days of your submission with options. Some of these options may be alternative hotels and rates that are subject to cancel/deposit policies that differ from previously published policies. So be sure to check the policies listed on your particular hotel reservation to ensure understanding.

Further, with your submission for rooms, you will be provided a 12-digit confirmation number that will be required on the registration site in order to purchase tickets for this event.

Please know that as options open up closer to downtown, we will contact you once again and offer you hotels in a more desired location than perhaps what is available to you today.

UPCI understands that some attendees may have family in the area; or wish to book rooms by redeeming hotel reward points; are military and require a government rate; or live within sixty (60) miles of Lucas Oil Stadium, and therefore would not be able to fulfill the obligation to book within the official housing block. If your church, or a specific church member falls under this category, Connections Housing offers an exception to the “Book the Block” rule. Request an exception

In order to request an exception, an exemption form must be filled out in full and submitted to Connections Housing prior to registering for the event. Once your exemption request has been received, Connections Housing will notify you within 5-business days if the request for exemption has been approved, and you will be provided an exception number that will be required when you register for the event. If the exemption request is denied, please understand that your room(s) must be booked through Connections Housing at www.northamericanyouthcongress.com in order to attend the conference.

Key dates:

1/2/2017	Housing opens (10 am CST). Use our blocking site to put your rooms on hold. You must book your individual reservations from your confirmed room block no later than May 18, 2017.
3/1/2017	Registration opens (10 am CST)
4/28/2017	Review date for room blocks of ten (10) or more
5/18/2017	Individual reservations must be booked with a credit card to guarantee each room held *Subject to change pending hotel policy at the time of booking
6/1/2017	Room block release date: Any rooms in your room block not reserved with a credit card will be automatically released. New reservation requests will be placed at an available hotel and not guaranteed with the rest of your church/group.
6/21/2017	Last day for checks to be sent to Connections Housing to pre-pay for rooms Invoices to pre-pay for rooms will only be offered by request only. Please note, we cannot accept checks if your church is tax exempt.
6/28/2017	Registration close date
6/30/2017	Event Cancel deadline: Reservations cancelled after this date will be charged a $50 fee by Connections Housing. *Subject to change pending hotel policy at the time of booking
7/11/2017	Hotel Cancel Deadline Start: Your Indianapolis hotel reserves the right to charge the first night’s room/tax for any rooms cancelled after this date. Please review your individual reservation acknowledgement letter for details on your hotel’s policies. *Subject to change pending hotel policy at the time of booking

For those participating in the Bible Quizzing Tournament, your hotel departure date should either be Wednesday, July 26th or Saturday, July 29th.

Some of the benefits of “Booking the block” include:

Support UPCI: Support the hotels that support UPCI.
No Contract Required: Simply reserve your room(s) online. Contracts are not required for group bookings.
Waitlist: : If you wish to change hotels after your hotel placement has been confirmed, you will have the option to be put on a waitlist for a particular hotel or part of town. If your preferred hotel, or preferred location option becomes available, Connections Housing will notify you and revise your reservation(s) with your approval.
Networking Opportunities: Stay at hotels with other NAYC/BQ participants.

Rest Easy: We are ready to assist and protect you regarding any hotel issues that may occur before, during, or after your stay. Our staff is on-site and on call 24/7 leading up to, and during, the event.

BUYER BEWARE! Connections Housing is the only housing company authorized by UPCI to provide housing services to NAYC/BQ participants. Please do not conduct business with any other travel or housing company claiming to represent this event.
